This policy explains how refunds work for northox apps. Our catalog includes free apps, freemium apps (a free tier plus a paid upgrade), and paid apps. Where you buy an app determines who processes any refund. "We", "us", and "northox" refer to the maker of the apps.
Apps and features offered free of charge — including the free editions of our freemium apps — involve no payment, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using them at any time by uninstalling.
When you pay for an app, an upgrade, or a license key, the payment — and therefore any refund — is handled by the seller you bought from:
| Where you bought | Who handles the refund | How to request it |
|---|---|---|
| Mac App Store (Apple) | Apple, under its own refund policy | Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com |
| Directly from us (via our reseller / merchant of record — Lemon Squeezy or Paddle) | The applicable reseller, under its refund policy, plus your statutory rights | Email northox.app@proton.me or use the link on your receipt |
If you bought a paid app directly from us and it doesn't work as described, or simply isn't right for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund of that purchase. To help us process it quickly, please include the email you used and, if you have it, your order number or license key. We process approved refunds through the reseller you paid (Lemon Squeezy or Paddle) back to your original payment method, usually within a few business days.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under consumer-protection law — such as the EU/UK right of withdrawal for digital purchases, or comparable rights in your country. Those rights always apply on top of the refund options above.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Changes apply to purchases made after they take effect.
